FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates radio-electronic engineering, particularly production of polymer compositions for absorbing spurious radiation in the sealed interior of microwave devices, especially on-board microstrip microwave devices and for making absorbing elements for miniature waveguide devices. The polymer composition for absorbing high-frequency energy contains low-molecular weight synthetic dimethyl siloxane rubber, cold curing catalyst No.68, absorbing filler - radio carbonyl iron R-10 and ethyl silicate-40.
EFFECT: invention provides improved absorption properties in the 8,5-10,5 GHz frequency range, reduced shrinkage, structure uniformity and repeatability of microwave characteristics.
