FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The substrate consists of a mineral base - clay deposits of natural raw material in form of Eredvi clay containing more than 10% potassium and 3.5% phosphorus. The nitrogen compounds used are the top 0-15 cm layer of soil extracted after growing legume crops in amount of 8-10%. 0.3-0.5% aqueous potassium iodide solution is further added to the substrate.
EFFECT: method increases survival rate of the seedlings.
