FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: arc structure comprises a curved upper belt, a string that connects support units of the arc structure, two inclined flexible traction rods that are arranged symmetrically. The curved upper belt and the string are connected to each other by two symmetrical stands that are placed perpendicularly to the axis of the upper belt in the point of coupling of stands and the upper belt at the distance of one quarter of the span of the arc structure from support units. Inclined flexible traction rods are connected by upper ends to units of stands and curved upper belt coupling, and by lower ends - to units of stand connection with the string.
EFFECT: increased bearing capacity of an arc structure whenever building covers are exposed to unilateral and other negative temporary loads.
