SUBSTANCE: method of chisel installation consists in the fact that a chisel journal is installed in a retaining accessory in the form of a fork, the fork is fixed on a cylindrical vessel with the possibility of displacement perpendicularly to the axis of the cylindrical vessel. The cylindrical vessel is a cylinder with inner diameter that is larger than the chisel diameter by the value that is not less than maximum variation of chisel position when fixed in the fork. The cylindrical vessel is fixed in a hydraulic wrench fixed at the drilling angle on a drilling mast and coaxially with the drill column bottom. The fork with the chisel is moved relative to the cylindrical vessel to alignment of the chisel relative to the cylindrical vessel, the drill column bottom is lowered until contact with the chisel thread and the response thread on the column, by movement of the fork relative to the cylindrical vessel the chisel is finally aligned, as well as the drill column bottom, the drill column bottom is screwed onto the chisel, the thread is tightened by rotation of the cylindrical vessel by the hydraulic wrench, the hydraulic wrench is removed, as well as the fork and the cylindrical vessel.
