FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to military equipment, and namely to loaders-transporters for self-propelled artillery-type weapons (SAW). Loader-transporter includes wheeled or tracked chassis, ammunition, ammunition feed mechanism (AFM), and ammunition containers. AFM includes two working elements providing at least six degrees of freedom at movement of containers from loader-transporter to SAW and back. Containers comprise hatches for ammunition unloading under action of force of gravity.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing the time required for ammunition loading from a loader-transporter to SAW during firing.
