FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: according to the proposed method, excess pressure in a fighting compartment is measured by means of an air overpressure metre. The latter represents a glass tube with two marks, which is connected to atmosphere, and with a ball arranged in the tube. When excess pressure of 35 mm of water column is reached, the air overpressure metre ball moves upwards along the tube to upper position, which gives evidence of available air overpressure. Excess air pressure acts on the piston and moves it. At the piston movement, an electric circuit is closed, and a signal from a lamp and through a register of a sound signalling device warns the crew of available air overpressure in the inhabited compartment.
EFFECT: increasing degree of informativity of a crew.
