FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining an error of shaping of pseudorange of a navigation signal, as per which a signal with carrier frequency fC equal to carrier frequency of a simulated navigation space vehicle is set by means of a navigation signal simulator; signal delay values are measured by means of navigation equipment of a user; errors of measurements are determined by defining difference of signal delays of the navigation signal simulator and the delays measured by the user's navigation equipment; total error of measurements is divided by error of the user's navigation equipment and error of the navigation signal simulator. With that, in two unchanged channels of the user's navigation equipment there determined are pseudoranges of navigation signals shaped in each of two channels of the navigation signal simulator as per results of the corresponding measurements.
EFFECT: determination of error of shaping of pseudorange between channels of a navigation signal simulator without using any delay line, ie having excluded additional unknown error.
