FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a water metre housing having cylindrical chamber 12 with impeller 2 installed in it with possibility of transfer of impeller 2 through a magnetic clutch coupling to counting mechanism 8 installed on housing 1 of the water metre in plastic transparent casing 9, the upper part of which is transparent, so that possibility of watching the readings of the counting mechanism is provided; sealing element 21 is made in lower part of the plastic transparent casing. Provision of protective metal bushing 7 and metal screen 5 from steel allows protecting the elements of the counting mechanism against action of magnetic and electromagnetic fields by means of a screened zone formed between protective metal bushing 7 and metal screen 5 which provides considerable weakening and dissipation of the above fields, which improves accuracy of water metre readings, erection convenience and adjustment of the counting mechanism elements due to simultaneous increase of structural strength with provision of stability of mutual position of the above elements. With that, marks and figures of scale 23 are applied onto disc 22; in addition, the device is equipped with removable segment 27 in upper part of transparent plastic casing 9. Also, the device has remote pulse transfer sensor 26 arranged in installation elements of upper part of transparent plastic casing 9 and removable segment 27, has opposite located latches 28 of segment 27, which interact with their mating elements in the deepened part of transparent plastic casing 9, enclosing projection 29 in the deepened part of transparent plastic casing 9 for arrangement of disc 22. Self-destructing latches 13 providing interaction with external mating element of upper edge of housing 1 are located on inner surface of lower edge of transparent plastic casing 9. Signal sprocket 24 is made in the form of a one-piece part together with magnetic half-coupling 19 (an analogue has two of such parts).
EFFECT: reduction of labour intensity for manufacture; reduction of possibility of random damage to the seal at installation or transportation of a metre; improvement of protection against mechanical effects and against action of magnetic and electromagnetic fields preventing the metre operation; improvement of reliability and durability of bearing assemblies; improvement of hydraulic parameters of the impeller; optimisation of connection means of the elements and hydraulic insulation; improvement of operating parameters of the device as a whole.
