FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method for control of automatic reclosure of feeder switch with short-circuiting control in overhead system at double-track line with section switch box and voltage transformer to control induced voltage in the overhead system; at that TWR line (two-wire rail line) passes through contact-line supports; the method consists in measuring of induced voltage in the overhead system after emergency cutoff of the feeder switch. At that according to the method the first (U(1)) and third (U(3)) harmonics of induced voltage are chosen, their ratio (B=U(3)/U(1)) is calculated and when B is less than Bo where Bo is the first basic value and U(1) is bigger than Ao where Ao is the second basic value then feeder switch is turned on; when B is bigger than Bo or U(1) is less than Ao, then prohibition on feeder switching on is set.

EFFECT: increasing reliability of short-circuiting detection in the line of overhead system.
