FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: enterprise emissions data is collected, analysed, and a data base is maintained. Primary specific indicator compounds are selected for control at sources of emissions - "enterprise fingerprints". A network of automated atmospheric air pollution control stations is established, and their locations are defined on the basis of the results of analysis of pollutants dispersion calculations in the ground layer of atmosphere. Round-the-clock monitoring is performed through continuous automatic measurement of pollutant content in atmosphere and at sources of pollution in enterprises, as well as measurements of meteorological parameters of atmosphere. A source of pollution is established by availability of specific indicator compounds in air. The results are compared with the results of analysis at the enterprise, which is the source of pollution, causes of occurrence are identified, as well as the necessity to change the process mode.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, validity and immediacy of control.
