SUBSTANCE: system for facilitating interaction between a consumer and a dispending apparatus includes: a beverage dispensing apparatus, a processor functionally connected to said dispensing apparatus and configured to execute a set of instructions upon execution of which enable the processor to: receive consumer preference with respect to receiving notification relating to availability of the beverage in said dispensing apparatus, wherein the consumer preference includes selecting at least one of: an email message, a text message, voicemail, a call over a wire telephone or mobile telephone; determining availability of said beverage in said dispensing apparatus; and notifying the consumer, at least partly based on the consumer preference, that said beverage is available in said dispensing apparatus, and the location of said dispensing device in response to determination that said beverage is available, wherein the consumer is notified through a message sent according to the consumer preference to a device associated with the consumer.

EFFECT: providing the user with information on availability of a drinking composition in a beverage dispending apparatus at a given time, based on preferences of the user.
