SUBSTANCE: invention refers to disposable absorbent products. A disposable absorbent product comprises a first elastic element of a wedge shaped piece adjacent to a first edge of the wedge shaped piece, and a second elastic element of the wedge shaped piece adjacent to the first edge of the wedge shaped piece. Each elastic element of the wedge shaped piece substantially extends longitudinally. Each elastic element has a front end point and a back end point. According to one version of the embodiment, at least one of the end points of the first elastic element of the wedge shaped piece is arranged transversally inwards from the rest portion of the first elastic element of the wedge shaped piece, and at least one of the end points of the second elastic element of the wedge shaped piece is arranged transversally inwards from the rest portion of the second elastic element of the wedge shaped piece. According to the other version, the front end portions of the first and second elastic elements of the wedge shaped piece or the back end portions of the first and second elastic elements of the wedge shaped piece converge inwards to each other.
