FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of household and industrial effluents. After bed is fouled, filtration is terminated to feed flushing water into bed layer. Note here that after filtration termination, remained water with dirt is first displaced via holes for air of drainage-distribution system composed of perforated tube with porous cartridge. Water level above the bed should equal 0.5-1.0 m. Aeration lasts for 3-5 minutes. After water feed termination, the bed is flushed with water via the holes of aforesaid system. Efficiency of said system is defined by mathematical formula.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of filtration.
