FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: filter press plate drive consists of support 1, retainer 16 fitted thereat, two sliding pawls 15 to remove the plates and two pawls 9 to fit plates in place arranged on both sides of said retainer 16. Plate drive support 14 is fitted above two pawls 15 via shaft 13. Plate removal support 14 rests on plate removal spring 12 while plate removal support 11 is fitted on plate mount pawls 8 and shaft 8 to thrust against spring 10. Support of bolt sleeve 2 is arranged outside support 11 at retainer 16. Bolt sleeve 5 is mounted on bolt sleeve support 2. Bolt 3 displaces in sleeve 5 along axis aligned with that bolt sleeve 5. Groove for displacement of lever 6 with through hole on side of bolt sleeve 4 moving lever 4 is rigidly coupled with bolt 3 at said groove 6. Spring to remove plate 12 and plate drive spring 10 are torsion springs. Bolt 3 can be fitted in the hole of bolt 7 at plate removal support.
