FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for production of helical rotor pumps. Proposed method comprises insertion of elastomer into case with screw sign fitted therein, elastomer vulcanisation and sign extrusion. Upper and lower forming rings are fitted at case ends and secured to said sign the for elastomer to be pressed therein. Prior to extrusion, forming rings are detached from the case while after sign extrusion 0.5-0.6 mm-thick elastomer blank is glued to end surfaces of vulcanised elastomer. Forming rings are fitted again at the case ends to heat stator end surfaces to 148-154°C and to press them by 1-2 kgf/cm2 for 30-50 minutes. Pressure is released to remove forming rings from the case for elastomer to be cooled to room temperature and held thereat for at least 6 hours.
EFFECT: higher quality owing to optimised process parameters.
