FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for opening/closing of mould arms in glass-forming machine. Proposed device comprises reduction gear to be mounted at glass-forming machine frame, cylinder body suspended from said reduction gear and cylinder to open/close said moulds arranged in cylinder body. Said cylinder has piston to open/close with rod and rack, drive gears to engage said rack with working shafts to mount said mould arms to turn said working shafts and, thus, displacing mould arms between open and close positions. Note here that drive cylinder is arranged in aforesaid cylinder body and incorporates drive piston to open/close the moulds engaged with said piston rod and said rack. Proposed device comprises working air feeder to facilitate opening/closing arranged at said cylinder body to feed air therein and is operated by said drive piston, piston rod and rack to lock mould arms in closed position.
EFFECT: smaller idle time in servicing and repair.
