FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass industry. Glass melt drops distributor to feed melt drops into glass forming machine sections comprises at least one motor, ball screw coupled with said motor, and support moving on its shaft and coupled with ball screw. At least one rack is engaged with said support and at least one chute is engaged with said rack to turn about chute axis in function of linear displacement of rack and support. Pair of saddles is arranged on opposite sides of said support and detached therefrom. Pair of hydraulic cylinders is arranged nearby said saddles. Hydraulic cylinder respond to motor no-supply condition to push saddles toward each other and arrange support on its shaft to move thereon, and rack and at least one chute into initial position.
EFFECT: glass melt distributor with sections.
