FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use in production of materials for the building industry, particularly for coating articles for decorative, utility and household purposes and ceramic tiles. The glaze contains components in the following amounts, wt %: SiO2 40-56; Al2O3 5-12; B2O3 6-20; Fe2O3 0,1-0,4; CaO 6-12; MgO 2.25-12; BaO 2-12; SrO 0-8; PbO 1-10; Na2O 1-10; K2O 1-10; Li2O 0-10; ZnO 8-12; ZrO2 0.1-2.9; TiO2 0-4. The glaze has flow temperature of 815-870°C.
EFFECT: high whiteness of the coating, no crazing and low flow temperature of the glaze.
