FIELD: materials for building industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials used for applying articles of decorative, practical and household designation, ceramic tiles. The glaze comprises the following components, wt. -%: SiO₂, 46.70-50.23; Al₂O₃, 5.79-11.25; B₂O₃, 10.86-14.31; Fe₂O₃, 0.10-0.40; CaO, 5.21-10.1; MgO, 0.41-2.25; Na₂O, 1.45-4.02; K₂O, 3.62-8.10; ZnO, 2.48-7.60; ZrO₂, 8.10-9.98; TiO₂, 0.11-0.60. The invention provides the optimization of the glaze composition containing the decreased content of Na₂O, increased content of K₂O and comprising titanium dioxide simultaneously that inhibits pitch formation by one hand and retains other working parameters of coating on the high level by the other hand.
