SUBSTANCE: replaceable heater comprises a metal body 1 in the form of a sleeve with an inner side cylindrical surface 2, changing at the bottom of the sleeve into the inner side conical surface 3, the diameter of which reduces in direction of the sleeve bottom, and also a central groove 5 made on the bottom inside the cavity 4 of the body 1, along the perimetre of the central groove there is a circular bottom ledge 6, which is smoothly coupled with the inner side conical surface 3 and is made with reduction of the transverse direction in direction to its top 7.

EFFECT: expanded arsenal of facilities for heating of ends of pipes from polymer thermoplastic material for thermal diffusion welding, reduction of applied axial forces during insertion of a pipe of thermoplastic polymer material into a replaceable heater, in particular, pipes with external diameter of 75-110 mm, provision of reliable fusion of the middle reinforcing layer.
