FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method to determine amplitude-phase frequency characteristics of a dynamic object suggests performing analysis of completion of transition process of involving the dynamic object into forced periodical oscillations and is carried out at each frequency of an inlet simple harmonic signal until the average determined values of Fourier coefficients of the outlet signal become permanent enough, i.e. until relative differences between newly calculated average values of Fourier coefficients of the outlet signal and the previous values of these parameters become by the module less than the preset accuracy parameter. At the same time analysis of completion of the transition process of involving the dynamic object into forced periodical oscillations is carried out by several additional harmonics. In this case completion of the transition process of involving the dynamic object into the forced periodical oscillations is determined by the number of necessary periods for completion of the transition process of the same harmonic, for which it is maximum.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of amplitude-phase frequency characteristics.
