FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to designing high-speed single-hull vessels. Ship tunnel-type hull has free hull and underwater hull with bottom having lengthwise arched cross-section channel extending along the hull. Said lengthwise channel is located under waterline and has generating lines parallel with centerline plane. Medium part of said lengthwise channel has cutout making a recess in free hull, above design waterline.
EFFECT: improved performances owing to lower friction drag.
