FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to configuration of hull with gas bottom cavities. Ducted hull has above-water hull and below-water hull with bottom with lengthwise horse-shaped cross-section-duct extending along hull length. Curved sides, below design waterline, converge to rostrum. Lengthwise duct is located below design waterline. Below-water hull cross-section profile along design waterline features maximum width at the stern. Lengthwise duct cross-section incorporates at least one horseshoe wedge-like step. Said step is arranged equidistant to duct walls, has sharp edge and is located at angle to duct surface toward stern. Steps are spaced apart along duct length.
EFFECT: better navigability.
