POLY(METH)ACRYLAMIDES WITH IMPROVED OPTICAL AND COLORISTIC PROPERTIES, PRIMARILY UNDER THERMAL LOAD Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC C08K5/49 C08L33/24 C08F8/48

Abstract RU 2499805 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing moulding compounds with improved optical and coloristic properties, which consist of a polymerisation product with structural units of formula , where R1 and R2 denote hydrogen and methyl, respectively, and R3 denotes hydrogen, an alkyl with 1-18 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl 5-8 carbon atoms, an aryl with 6-10 carbon atoms, an arylalkyl with 6-10 carbon atoms in the aryl and 1-4 carbon atoms in the alkyl, wherein said residues may contain up to three substitutes selected from a group comprising an alkoxy with 1-4 carbon atoms and a halogen, obtained in a reaction extruder via an imidation reaction, at the completion of which an effective amount of one or more phosphorus compounds with reducing action is added to the polymerisation product to improve its coloristic stabilisation. The phosphorus compounds are organic phosphorus compounds selected from a group comprising compounds of formula , where R4 and R5 independently and respectively denote hydrogen or a six-member aromatic ring which can contain, as substitutes, up to five alkyl groups with 1-4 carbon atoms and/or cycloalkyl groups with 5-8 carbon atoms, R6 denotes hydrogen or an alkali metal, an alkali-earth metal, aluminium or ammonia which contain, as substitutes, up to four alkyl groups with 1-4 carbon atoms and/or cycloalkyl groups with 5-8 carbon atoms.

EFFECT: negligible susceptibility to yellowing under thermal load, coupled with negligible dullness, stable and high light transmission.
