FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum chamber includes three submersible connection pipes. Connection pipes have an inclination relative to vertical axis of the vacuum chamber and are located with an offset relative to the same axis to the distance of 1-1.5d, where - inner diameter of the connection pipe. Each connection pipe is equipped with an insert lined with refractory material, which is located between the vacuum chamber bottom and upper surface of the connection pipe and carrier gas supply nozzles located on lower side opposite to the insert.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of a vacuum chamber.
