FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises interaction of shell head compartment or bullet with barrel. Rifled barrel bore is processed by taper reamer to make it converged to muzzle end and, then, is broached over its entire length. Broach bit cross-section represents four-beam shape. Grooves formed in broaching deepening proportionally with barrel bore convergence in passage of shell or bullet nose form lengthwise rib-shape stabilising elements on shell or bullet shells.
EFFECT: higher quality of gun fire.
