FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method to produce a damp-proof container 1 from polymer composite materials involves the following: inner shell is wound by fabric winding onto a cylindrical mandrel with a pre-applied separating oil layer, plastic foam layer is laid and outer shell is wound, end face 5 and intermediate 6 rings installed between the shells are provided simultaneously with the inner shell, the rings are reinforced by bulkheads 7 wound onto the outer shell, after heat treatment the container 1 workpiece is removed from the mandrel by applying axial removing force to it with the rest against the end face 5 ring, material layers are peeled off from the outer shell, the workpiece is cut by the longitudinal horizontal symmetry plane 8 providing for base casing 9 and cover casing 10 of the container 1, material layers are peeled off from the inner shell providing for optimal roughness of the inner shell surface and its optimal thickness; in the places where materials are overlapping, one-two layers shall be additionally peeled off, then support 13 and strapping 14 elements are attached on partial bulkheads 6 of the base 9 and the cover 10 respectively, as well as special elements: end covers 15 - at end face semi-rings 5, sealing elements 16 - at edges, locks - outside at the rings 6 and bulkheads 7, and locating blocks 20 of the item 21 are fixed on the inner shell of the base casing 9 by glue and threaded connections 19. Damp-proof container 1 from polymer composite materials comprises the base casing 9 and cover casing 10 made by fabric winding method during a single process; they consist of the inner shell, plastic foam layer and the outer shell, with outer shell surface roughness and thickness, produced by peeling off of the shell material, with parting plane 8 along the longitudinal horizontal symmetry plane of the container. The casings are fitted by end face 5 and intermediate 6 semi-rings installed between the shells and reinforced by partial bulkheads 7 wound onto the outer shell, on the said bulkheads the supports 13 of the container 1 are fixed on the base 9 and strapping elements 14 - on the cover 10. The locating blocks 20 of the item 21 are fixed on the inner shell of the base 9 by glue and threaded connections 19.
