FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for production of crown bits, diamond bits, cylindrical diamond drill bits, etc. Split non-expandable graphite sleeve with groove cut over its OD is fitted inside tool cylindrical body. Said sleeve is pressed against tool body inner surface. Then, diamond-bearing or carbide elements with flux and solder applied thereon are arranged in turns over groove side surface. Said elements are pressed against tool body face. Ellipse-shape inductor is used wherein the length of larger inner diagonal is 1.3-1.8 times larger then soldered element length. Then, elements are soldered in place to withdraw graphite sleeve therefrom.
EFFECT: reliable attachment of diamond-bearing or carbide elements, tool longer life.
