FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in production of plate-like solder used at tapping on bodies of cutting and deforming tools of hard-alloy plates. Solder strip is milled on both sides by steel needle-cutters and drawn between needle rollers. Protrusions are squeezed out on both sides. Then the strip is coated with flux layers by way of its passing through baths with melt. Tape is cooled with compressed air or water-based sprayed liquid and both sides are ground to open ledges. Then the tape is wrapped with electroconductive paper, heated, rolled between rollers and cut into workpieces with length of 300–500 mm. Plates with preset sizes and shape are cut out of said workpieces before soldering at laser cutting machine.
EFFECT: result is improved quality of obtained plates and, consequently, quality of soldering.
