FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: insulator has the following ceramic composition, wt %: SiO2 25-60; R2O3 15-35%, where R2O3 is B2O3 3-15% and Al2O3 5-25%; MgO 4-25% + Li2O 0-7%, where the total amount of MgO+Li2O is about 6-25%; R2O in amount of 2-20%. Wherein R2O is Na2O 0-15%, K2O 0-15%, Rb2O 0-15%; Rb2O 0-15%; Cs2O 0-20% and F 4-20% and contains crystalline grains that are oriented to extend in a first (circular) direction and in a direction (radial) perpendicular to the first direction, and a first region where there is compression stress and a second region where there is tensile stress.
EFFECT: high mechanical and electrical strength of the insulator.
