SUBSTANCE: invention provides an electrolysis cell having a pair of electrodes which are electrically connected to a current source; an electrolyte which is linked to the electrodes by liquid; a first gas formed at the first electrode; a second gas formed at the second electrode; a separator and collectors of the first and second gases. The separator has a first slanted surface which enables to direct the stream of electrolyte and the first gas due to difference between the density of the electrolyte and total density of the electrolyte and the first gas. The separator has a second slanted surface which enables to direct the stream of electrolyte and the second gas due to difference between the density of the electrolyte and total density of the electrolyte and the second gas so that the gas moves from the first electrode towards the collector of the second gas.
EFFECT: improved electrolyte circulation and eliminating the slowdown in removal of electrolysis products.
