SUBSTANCE: cast-iron contains the following, wt %: carbon 3.8-4.0; silicon 1.8-2.0; manganese 0.15-0.25; yttrium 0.01-0.015; boron 0.1-0.15; tellurium 0.0002-0.0003; nickel 0.9-1.1; hafnium 0.4-0.6; iron is the rest.
EFFECT: increasing cast iron thermal resistance.
