FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device of radio frequency ignition of an internal combustion engine comprising a power supply circuit (2), which includes a transformer (T), the secondary winding of which is connected at least with one resonator (1), having resonant frequency exceeding 1 MHz, and comprising two electrodes made as capable of generating a spark for initiation of ignition of a combustible mixture in a cylinder of the engine in response to the ignition command. The device comprises: a measuring capacitor (Cmes), serially connected between the secondary winding of the transformer and the resonator; a circuit (40) of current measurement (Iion) at contacts of the specified measuring capacitor, at the same time the specified current is electric rating of combustion development; a protective circuit (30), connected between the metering capacitor and the measurement circuit, and made as capable of saving time on reading of measurement of the specified current (Iion) against electric impact that accompany the ignition command.
EFFECT: reduced period of measurement masking and independence of measurement on type of a generated discharge.
