FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: there is the description of control method of plasma RF generator containing feed circuit (2) containing circuit breaker (9), controlled at least with one set of control pulses, supplying intermediate voltage (Vinter) at control frequency to the outlet to which resonator (6) generating a spark with two electrodes (103, 106) is connected when high voltage of certain level is supplied to feed circuit outlet. Method involves the reception of the first and the second measurement signals characterising the operation of internal combustion engine and type of generated spark, on-line control, depending on the received measurement signals, at least one parameter chosen at least from the level of intermediate voltage, control frequency and duration of series of control pulses to contribute to branching of the generated spark.

EFFECT: improving ignition reliability by preventing the spark concentration in the form of a single cord.
