SUBSTANCE: method involves subsequent tests of full fuel spray stop, which are conducted in series in each line of baffle plates, without using any other actions in lines of baffle plates (6), except for the action related to the test. Calculation of the change between measurements of the parameter characterising total content of incomplete burning in flue gases before and after full spray stop is carried out in the tested line of baffle plates. Identification of any line of baffle plates is performed in incomplete burning situation if the specified change exceeds x% of the value of the specified characteristic parameter at the beginning of the corresponding test; besides, x% is preferably approximately 5% to 10%.
