FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: method involves action on an explosive object of a destructing agent formed during flight of a thrown element. The thrown element is located from the object being destructed at the distance determined with the type of the object being destructed. The device includes a propellent explosive charge and the thrown element, which are placed in the housing. The thrown element is made in the form of a concave disc with curvature towards the propellent explosive charge with curvature radius of 10 to 100 mm. Ratio of the thrown element mass to propellent explosive charge mass is 1:2-10. The thrown element is made from metal. Propellent charge is made in the form of a flattened cone. Propellent charge is made in the form of a cylinder.

EFFECT: safe detonation-free destruction of explosive objects.
