FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: system of active protection comprises a U-shaped housing, a propellant charge of explosive material, a block of ready submunitions, an assembly of detonation, and a control system of undermining. The housing has thickened walls and a bottom and is made of durable structural metal and/or composite material. Inside the housing the explosive material of propellant charge is placed, consisting of the tubular ballistite powder in the form of a set of powder components and/or composite solid fuel in the form of a set of the fuel elements. The assembly of detonation consists of an elongated high explosive charge in a metallic shell. In the upper muzzle part of the housing a block of ready submunitions, mounted close to the propellant charge with the installation between them of a thin plate of the structural metal and/or non-metal material. The system is activated by the operator by radio channel or the wire line.
EFFECT: reduction of the level of shock loads, expansion of functional capabilities and provision of multiplicity of use.
