FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method is realised using magnetic and gravitational fields and seabed topography. Local anomalies are alternately excluded from magnetic and gravitational anomalies. A trend is estimated based on the residual field anomalies and bottom topography. A line of maximum trend variability is found, on which seismic investigations are carried out and deep horizons are identified. Multidimensional relationships with depths to said horizons are estimated. The obtained relationships are distributed to the immediate surroundings of the reference profile. Interpolation and extrapolation of the relationships is allowed.

EFFECT: high accuracy of exploration data.
