SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, and can be applied in simultaneous surgical treatment of mandibular macrognathia and bilateral fracture of lower jaw with displacement of fragments. Method lies in performing skin cuts in submandibular, submental and retromandibular areas in different combination, skeletisation of bone fragments, their reposition into correct position, and performing osteosynthesis. Before performing osteosynthesis simultaneous resection and reconstruction of bone sections, adjacent to fracture gap, are carried out. Right and left inferior alveolar nerves are preserved. After that, fragments are displaced on plane with creation of correct adaptive bite, which is fixed by means of rubber bands. Bone fragments of mandible are fixed with application of bone suture with wire ligature, or mini-plates with screws, or other fastening devices.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to carry out simultaneous surgery aimed at elimination of bilateral fracture of lower jaw with displacement of fragments and mandibular macrognathia, eliminate additional operation for bite correction, and, therefore, avoid second surgical trauma.
