FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular, to neurology and maxillofacial surgery, and is intended to prevent the development of damage to the lower alveolar nerve in the process of mandibular osteotomy. Before a corrective osteotomy is performed, a 3D computer model of the lower jaw is performed, simulating a surgical precision template on the inner and outer surfaces of the mandible branch of right and left sides thereof. Internal protrusion of the template indicates the location of the foramen mandibulae opening and the lingula mandibulae mandibular tongue, relative to which the line of the internal osteotomy of the mandible branch is defined, and along the edge of the template, passing along the anterior surface of the mandible branch, the line used for sagittal osteotomy is defined. On the edge of the template, passing vertically downwards and located at the level of the middle of the coronal part of the second molar, the line used for external vertical osteotomy is defined, then a section of the mucous membrane in the area of the corners of the mandible is performed from the vestibular side, continuing to the first molars, the mucoperiosteal flap is exfoliated, the outer and inner surface of the angle of the mandible is skeletonized and the surgical precision template is fixed from the outer surface with screws. Further, corrective osteotomy of the mandible, including internal, sagittal and external vertical osteotomy, is performed taking into account the lines of the precision pattern.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the trauma of the lower alveolar nerve, reduce the time of surgical intervention and reduce the number of postoperative complications.
