FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sorting of extracted mineral, for example, ore, into at least two categories including: portion comprising particles susceptible to microwave power. portion comprising particles less susceptible to microwave power. Note here that proposed process includes the following steps: (a) subjecting of extracted minerals to microwave power and heating them on dependence to susceptibility of particles material; (b) thermal analysis of particles using particles temperature as reference to indication of difference in particles composition; (c) sorting of particles proceeding from the obtained results. Note also that proposed method comprises also the control over atmosphere where through particles displace between position whereat particles are subjected to microwave power and that whereat they are subjected to thermal analysis.
EFFECT: precise sorting.
