FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sorting of extracted mineral, for example, ore, into at least two categories including: portion comprising particles susceptible to microwave power. portion comprising particles less susceptible to microwave power. Note here that proposed process includes the following steps: (a) subjecting of extracted minerals to microwave power and heating them on dependence to susceptibility of particles material; (b) thermal analysis of particles using particles temperature as reference to indication of difference in particles composition; (c) sorting of particles proceeding from the obtained results. Note here that step of thermal analysis comprises thermal assessment of particles at background surface and heating the latter to temperature other than particles temperature to allow heat contact between particles and background surface. Besides, it includes particles sorting on the bases from the results of thermal analysis.
EFFECT: precise sorting.
