FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention serves to simplify shaping roller replacement. Proposed unit comprises two plate-like frames built in external frame vertically mounted at base plate to displace only vertically, pads of top and bottom horizontal rollers and cartridges of eight and left lateral rollers fixed at internal frames and separated by mechanical means. Set of rollers is extracted without hydraulic means owing to arrangement of internal frames in gaging mill to allow displacement up and down. Said mechanical means for engagement of camber with concavity are made at opposite surfaces between appropriate pads and roller cartridges and internal frames. After detachment from pressure device said pads and roller cartridges are directed downward by downward motion of internal frames to make the set to be withdrawn from the mill. Said set is disassembled by upward motion of internal frames while pads and internal frames can be displaced inside the mill and locked.
EFFECT: simplified replacement.
