SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises grinding aluminium-bearing clay to particles sized to 0.001-1.0 mm, mixing it with water in amount of 30-40% of total weight of ground clay to make water suspension to be loaded inside the housing by blowing processing zone with compressed atmospheric air, reducing with gases contained in compressed air flows at subjecting said water suspension to variable rotary magnetic field with intensity in processing zones of 4*104 -1*106 A/m, frequency of 40-70 Hz by forcing water suspension through housing processing zones, the number making 2 to 6 and used as closing connection links for generated magnetic field acting at water suspension. Water suspension loading and aluminium discharge are made without outage of production plant. Proposed device comprises housing to accommodate aluminium-bearing clay, magnetic filed inductors composed of interconnected plates of magnetically conducting material and connected in closed rectangular circuit, their number making 2 to 6 and connected with external power supply, solenoids composed of three coils arranged inside inductors to make every closed rectangular circuit. Every said coil is connected to appropriate phase of said external three-phase power supply. Inductor circuit has through slot to surround case arranged therein, aforesaid circuit being arranged successively at equal spacing between them. Device comprises means to load and displace suspension and to discharge finished aluminium.
EFFECT: high-purity aluminium in continuous process.
