FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: outlet head comprises a board for fixation of an engine, installed on the engine; a support board, installed on a pump unit; a cranked transition, installed on the support board with provision of the outlet from the pump unit; a pipe for placement of a seal connected with the cranked transition and designed for installation of a mechanical or packing seal in it and made with provision of access to a connecting coupling and a seal seat in the range of 360°. The head also comprises four support pipes, arranged between the board for fixation of the engine and the support board; and four ribs made as capable of connection of appropriate four support pipes with the pipe for placement of the seal and designed for prevention of side and torsion shift, including the shift specified by hydraulic forces of reaction in an injection nozzle of the pump and inertia of a driving facility.

EFFECT: outlet head made in accordance with this invention accelerates and facilitates connection of a pump shaft and an engine shaft, provides access to a seal, facilitating its installation and replacement, for instance, in vertical turbine sludge pumps.
