FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: maximum rated load at a sleeper is set separately in its most loaded sections. Tests of the whole sleeper are carried out, at the same time the sleeper is loaded simultaneously with three electrohydraulic tracking channels of loading, two of which act at subrail parts of the sleeper with concentration, and the third one acts in a distributed manner via a lever system at the middle part of the sleeper from soil reaction. Loads are all three electrohydraulic channels of loading are synchronised with the help of a computer with the appropriate software. A bench comprises three independent electrohydraulic tracking channels of loading, including three hydraulic cylinders, three servovalves, three dynamometers, three controllers and three mechanical systems. All electrohydraulic tracking channels of loading are fed from an oil pump station with control from one PC.
EFFECT: possibility to simultaneously load a whole non-cut sleeper, as it happens in real conditions, reduction of time and costs for certification testing for static strength and cyclic endurance of whole sleepers.
