FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automated electric drive and can be used to determine parameters of DC motors. Method of determining parameters of DC motor consists in that simultaneously measuring instantaneous values of current and voltage in armature winding and frequency of rotation of output shaft. Measured instantaneous values of current and voltage in the armature winding and output shaft rpm are differentiated to obtain current and voltage derivatives in the armature winding and output shaft rpm. Two time delays of instantaneous values and current and voltage derivatives in armature winding and output shaft rpm are performed successively. Obtained current and delayed once and twice instantaneous values and derivatives of current and voltage in armature winding and rotation speed of output shaft are stored and used to determine active resistance of armature winding, inductance of armature winding, coefficient characterizing connection between current and electromagnetic moment of DC motor in real time mode.

EFFECT: obtained value of coefficient characterizing connection between current and electromagnetic moment of DC motor and memorized instantaneous values and derivatives of current and voltage in armature winding and rotation shaft rpm are used to determine equivalent moment of inertia, reduced to shaft of electric motor and moment of resistance of load on shaft of DC motor in real time.
