SUBSTANCE: node B of a radio communication system realises a radio communication method which involves determining a precoding matrix in node B based on gain offset due to differences in gain of an automatic gain control system in multiple receiving channels of multiple user equipment (UE) antennae, forming a beam for said UE using said precoding matrix and receiving probing reference signals from the multiple UE antennae. Each probing signal is transmitted by the UE from one antenna with a power level defined based on the relative gain for said antenna. The relative gain is determined by the gain of the automatic gain control for the corresponding antenna and the gain of the automatic gain control for the reference antenna of said UE.

EFFECT: high signal-to-noise ratio, which increases transmission rate.
