FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to making thread joints. Proposed method comprises pre-tightening of thread joint by applying torque to joint moving element and subjecting it to ultrasound oscillations. Current magnitudes of oscillation amplitude and frequency are used to define current values of joint dynamics.In case dynamic index reaches reference value said joint is locked by locking moment at acting by ultrasound oscillations to thread joint elements, ultrasound oscillation amplitude exceeding that of pre-tightening.
EFFECT: reliable locking.
