FIELD: machine engineering, possibly ultrasound treatment of threaded joints.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of tightening due to applying torque to fastening part of threaded joint and acting upon it by means of ultrasound oscillations while monitoring change of torque increment sign; decreasing amplitude of ultrasound oscillations and increasing torque at changing sign of torque increment corresponding to achievement of limit yield of material of fastening part for concrete amplitude of ultrasound oscillations; starting tightening at maximum amplitude of ultrasound oscillations and ending tightening at minimum amplitude of ultrasound oscillations.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of assembling process.
